The issue is only affecting custom launchers like Nova and Smart whereas the stock launcher is free from this bug. So as of now, your best bet is to switch over to the stock launcher that shipped with your device. As far as the official stance on this matter is concerned, the developers are yet to acknowledge this issue, let alone give out any ETA for the rollout of a fix.
